Riassunto
The aim of this work was to analyse kinematics and kinetics parameters during the parachutists landing to provide, through an equipped with FSR sensors and IMU sensors, a kinematic and kinetic characterization. Consequently, a safe and reliable measurement protocol was developed for the evaluation of the parameters. Therefore, three different jumping heights were identified to analyse parameters changes. Furthermore, a performance index was validated that enables an a-posteriori investigation on jumps quantitative evaluation. That performance index has characterized four different categories of abnormal jumps that have been verified by means of an analysis of the video recordings. The main novelty of this MSc thesis consists of: i) measurement protocol development for kinematics and kinetics parameters evaluation during the landing after jumping; ii) a pilot study on 13 subjects for the PLF technique during (a) and (b) phases; iii) validation of a novel performance index. The ultimate purpose of this study is to transfer the results obtained for the design of new boots for the launch able to improve the comfort and injuries prevention. It could be interesting in the future to analyse the entire PLF technique (i.e. (c)-(d) and (e) phases) by using wearable sensors during a real launch case.
