Riassunto
This essay, written in French, is a comparative literature study surrounding the intersectional form of ecofeminism through the figure of the witch on four literary works from Maryse Condé, Valentina d'Urbano, Toni Morrison, and Marie NDiaye. Through the ecopoetic and geocritic critical view, the study centers around the genre of magical realism and its mutual link to the ecosophical form of the witch. The attention put on the contemporary time period of literature showcased how the ‘contre-écriture’ becomes a leitmotiv of the female writers through the witch becoming the symbol of the independent woman.
