La presente ricerca esplora l'opera di Else Lasker-Schüler, concentrandosi sul sottile confine tra fantasia e realtà nel suo Gesamtkunstwerk. Attraverso l'analisi delle sue poesie, prose e disegni, si è evidenziato come l'autrice integri elementi della sua vita reale con la fantasia, creando una fusione unica e affascinante. Il primo capitolo contestualizza Lasker-Schüler all'interno del movimento espressionista tedesco, mentre il secondo approfondisce l'uso degli alter-ego, che incarnano diverse sfaccettature della sua psiche. Il terzo capitolo analizza l'uso del colore azzurro, simbolo di trascendenza e spiritualità, mentre il quarto esamina simboli ricorrenti come l'occhio, le stelle, la luna e il cuore, che rappresentano emozioni profonde e complesse. La ricerca ha dimostrato come Lasker-Schüler riesca a fondere magistralmente fantasia e realtà, creando un'opera che esplora le profondità dell'animo umano e le vastità del mondo immaginario. Il presente studio getta nuova luce sull'importanza di considerare aspetti letterari e biografici per comprendere pienamente l'autrice e il suo contributo alla letteratura del primo Novecento.

This research explores the work of Else Lasker-Schüler, focusing on the thin boundary between fantasy and reality in her Gesamtkunstwerk. Through the analysis of her poems, prose, and drawings, it has been highlighted how the author integrates elements of her real life with fantasy, creating a unique and fascinating fusion. The first chapter contextualizes Lasker-Schüler within the German expressionist movement, while the second delves into the use of alter-egos, which embody different facets of her psyche. The third chapter analyzes the use of the color blue, a symbol of transcendence and spirituality, while the fourth examines recurring symbols such as the eye, stars, moon, and heart, representing deep and complex emotions. The research has demonstrated how Lasker-Schüler masterfully blends fantasy and reality, creating a work that explores the depths of the human soul and the vastness of the imaginary world. This study sheds new light on the importance of considering both literary and biographical aspects to fully understand the author and her contribution to early 20th-century literature.
