This thesis aims to provide a new edition and the first lemmatic commentary on Callimachus' "Victoria Sosibii" (fr. 384 Pfeiffer). It also includes an Italian translation of the poem and a new edition and translation of the marginal annotations on "Victoria Sosibii" from P.Oxy. 2258. The edition is preceded by an Introduction that addresses several preliminary issues, such as the identity of the praised addressee and the dating of the work. Additionally, it explores the connections between Callimachus' composition, lyric epinicium, and Hellenistic epigram. A section of the Introduction is also devoted to the analysis of the papyri evidence.
