Riassunto
This thesis proposes a study of some elements of verbal and non-verbal language, emblematic of President Obama and President Trump, within a corpus of Presidential Briefings and Speeches. The main objective of this work is to highlight the functions of some linguistic features under study and to observe how the latter are used, in the context of political discourse, in a functional and persuasive way to evoke "inclusiveness" or " exclusiveness " in the audience.
