The present work is based on the recent paper "INFORMATION, MISALLOCATION, AND AGGREGATE
PRODUCTIVITY" by David et al. (2016): firm-level uncertainty at the moment of making investment decisions results in productivity and output losses. We provide an augmentation of the baseline model by adding aggregate shocks and focusing on the Italian case.
