Riassunto
International efforts are being made to overcome the challenges of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. As households are one of the most significant contributors to global warming, reducing carbon emissions caused by household energy consumption is critical. Because of the increased use of renewables and the introduction of new technologies, there may be fluctuations in electricity supply or a decrease in total output. In this study, I examined people's willingness to change their consumption habits in response to shifts in energy supply. We conducted an online experiment that included a common pool game and a survey to better understand people's withdrawal decisions in response to random pool size variation and priming conditions. As the success of these policies is inextricably linked to the household, understanding their minds, obstacles, and decision-making mechanisms is vital. Considering this, my research focuses on energy saving behaviour of participants and factors affecting it.
