Le parole che si sono aggregate, per divenire titolo di una ricerca destinata a concludere un percorso di studio che ha coinciso con un tempo molto intenso della vita personale, sono tra quelle che più frequentemente mi sono trovata ad incrociare, con frequenza crescente negli ultimi anni: non solo nel quotidiano delle mie attività culturali e sociali, ma forse ancor di più nei contesti fortemente diversi dei documenti della politica, delle riforme sociali, e, in modo ancor più sorprendente, nel magistero di papa Francesco. Le tre parole, insieme, comunità, cooperazione, certamente tra loro molto diverse e polivalenti, ricorrevano per lo più in modi e contesti ben distinti, ma si coniugavano ed applicavano ad ordini di valori molto simili, tanto da rendere quasi ovvio il loro trovarsi esplicitamente associate.

Il percorso che si è pensato di scegliere per fare i conti con i limiti di tempi e di risorse culturali e disciplinari può essere così riassunto:

a) il primo capitolo esplicita il contesto maggiormente esposto alla tendenza della soggettività, ma che è sembrato indispensabile per contestualizzare il tutto, i limiti ed il potenziale interesse di rappresentare la realtà quotidiana da uno dei suoi interni, mai lineari, né separabili nel confrontarsi con le parole confluite nel titolo del lavoro:insieme, comunità, cooperazione;

b) il secondo capitolo è dedicato a presentare, nei suoi contenuti che sono apparsi più direttamente pertinenti con gli obiettivi dichiarati nella premessa, il lavoro di Richard Sennett Insieme. Rituali, piaceri, politiche della collaborazione (2012); l’autore scelto sembra specificamente interessante come rappresentante di un tempo in qualche modo già concluso, ma che è stato quello in cui le parole iniziavano la loro trasformazione, nella storia reale, nel passaggio dal tempo dell’universale umano al globale del mercato: dalla utopia del bene comune dell’acqua, e del “diritto di avere diritti” di Rodotà (2013), alla deriva delle democrazie e del diritto che ha ridato legittimazione alla guerra;

c) il terzo capitolo affronta una lettura critica approfondita del testo di Sennett in relazione alla problematica aperta proprio dalle parole che informano la riflessione del sociologo, sulle quali si è svolto il lavoro di ricerca nell’orizzonte di insieme, comunità e cooperazione;

d) il capitolo quarto è pensato per riflettere sul significato di due esperienze attuali, in corso, che ho potuto vivere direttamente come esempi di possibili esercizi di democrazia e comunità: la prima esperienza, in un contesto fortissimamente locale, ed altrettanto chiaramente rappresentativo di realtà diffuse a livello non solo nazionale, nel seguire la lotta del collettivo di fabbrica ex GKN, come risposta-resistenza ad un sistema capitalistico predatorio che domina il mondo e sfrutta la vita delle persone e del pianeta, sistema al quale non è possibile né conveniente continuare ad adeguarsi; la seconda esperienza nel Sinodo delle Chiese cristiane in Italia, come esperienza di dialogo, democrazia ecclesiale e critica della modernità, capace di valorizzare tanto la dimensione teologica ed ecclesiologica quanto quella filosofico-sociale; il capitolo è il risultato di un lavoro di ascolto e presenza da parte di un soggetto operativo non istituzionale (io) con il magistero di papa Francesco da una parte (l’equivalente di uno sguardo ‘dottrinale’ sul mondo valoriale che sta dietro le parole), e, dall’altra, la condivisione, dal basso e come redattrice di Fuori binario, della sperimentazione sinodale della chiesa italiana;
e) le conclusioni si confrontano con le ipotesi formulate nella premessa, filtrate e confrontate con il percorso di ricerca.

The words that have come together to become the title of a research project intended to conclude a study path that coincided with a very intense time in my personal life, are among those that I have most frequently encountered, with increasing frequency in recent years: not only in the daily life of my cultural and social activities, but perhaps even more so in the very different contexts of political documents, social reforms, and, even more surprisingly, in the teaching of Pope Francis. The three words, together, community, cooperation, certainly very different and multi-purpose among themselves, recurred mostly in very distinct ways and contexts, but they were combined and applied to very similar orders of values, so much so as to make it almost obvious that they were explicitly associated.
The path that was chosen to deal with the limitations of time and cultural and disciplinary resources can be summarized as follows:

a) the first chapter explains the context most exposed to the tendency of subjectivity, but which seemed indispensable to contextualize everything, the limits and the potential interest of representing everyday reality from one of its interiors, never linear, nor separable in dealing with the words that converge in the title of the work: together, community, cooperation;
b) the second chapter is dedicated to presenting, in its contents that appeared most directly relevant to the objectives declared in the introduction, the work of Richard Sennett Together. Rituals, pleasures, and the politics of collaboration (2012); the chosen author seems specifically interesting as a representative of a time that has already ended in some way, but which was the one in which words began their transformation, in real history, in the passage from the time of the universal human to the global of the market: from the utopia of the common good of water, and of the "right to have rights" of Rodotà (2013), to the drift of democracies and of the law that has given legitimacy to war;

c) the third chapter deals with an in-depth critical reading of Sennett's text in relation to the problematic opened precisely by the words that inform the reflection of the sociologist, on which the research work was carried out in the horizon of togetherness, community and cooperation;
d) the fourth chapter is intended to reflect on the meaning of two current, ongoing experiences that I have been able to experience directly as examples of possible exercises of democracy and community: the first experience, in a very strongly local context, and equally clearly representative of realities spread not only at a national level, in following the struggle of the ex GKN factory collective, as a response-resistance to a predatory capitalist system that dominates the world and exploits the lives of people and the planet, a system to which it is neither possible nor convenient to continue to adapt; the second experience in the Synod of Christian Churches in Italy, as an experience of dialogue, ecclesial democracy and criticism of modernity, capable of valorizing both the theological and ecclesiological dimension and the philosophical-social one; the chapter is the result of a work of listening and presence by a non-institutional operative subject (me) with the magisterium of Pope Francis on one side (the equivalent of a ‘doctrinal’ look at the world of values ​​that lies behind the words), and, on the other, the sharing, from below and as editor of Fuori binaria, of the synodal experimentation of the Italian church;
e) the conclusions are compared with the hypotheses formulated in the premise, filtered and compared with the research path.
