Confronto tra due romanzi dell'autrice contemporanea Doris Lessing: A Proper Marriage, uno dei suoi primissimi lavori, pubblicato nel 1954, e Alfred and Emily, ultima sua opera, risalente al 2008. Il mio lavoro vuole dimostrare quanto tematiche sociali importanti, come la lotta per la libertà, l'uguaglianza e la parità di genere, siano a cuore alla scrittrice, la quale se ne occupa in tutte le sue opere.
Comparison between two novels written by Doris Lessing: A Proper Marriage (1954), one of her very first works, and Alfred and Emily (2008), her last novel. This work aims to demonstrate how important are social issues -- such as the struggle for freedom, social and gender equality -- for the writer, who deals with them in all her works.
