Riassunto
The aim of the thesis is the development of a bioreactor for qualitative and quantitative evaluation of nutraceutical absorption. In particular, to evaluate the absorption and physiological effects of Apolipoprotein A1 Milano. The bioreactor simulates the intestinal environment, mechanically stimulating a tubular scaffold on which Caco-2 (Cancer coli) have been seeded. In the study PAN and PCL are used, in order to highlight the differences between piezoelectric and non-piezoelectric polymers and we will see the methods of production of scaffolds, their characterization, and the seeding procedures with different methods.
