Riassunto
The strategy applied to uniquely assign identifiers to web pages can influence the performance of the search engine. We propose an approach based on machine learning from which we derive a ranking model that will produce a static score for each page. Then the page assignment will be obtained by sorting the pages in decreasing order of the calculated score. This approach offers effectiveness measures comparable to those offered by a dynamic ranking model.
