Riassunto (Italiano)
The use of magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) or magnetic materials, in general, is an attractive solution for various reasons mainly in the biomedical field—still, targeted delivery of them in situ results in reduced efficiency. This work proposes 3 different capsule designs that can be magnetically dragged to the site of interest with a controllable release. Each model included decoupled localization/locomotion and release magnetic mechanisms. Numerical and analytical analyses were used to critically test the designs with a consequent experimental validation of the optimal model. Results suggest the potential of the model's use in further development.
