Il presente lavoro vuole essere uno studio completo del Testo Drammatico di Abido. Esso prende in
esame tutti i testimoni attualmente noti, sintetizza tutte le conoscenze prodotte fino ad ora sul testo
tramite le precedenti edizioni e fornisce le conoscenze di base per la comprensione dello stesso.
Propone infine un commento astronomico e un’interpretazione sulla sua evoluzione storica e sul suo
contesto di provenienza.

The present work is intended to be a complete study of the Dramatic Text of Abydos. It examines all
the currently known witnesses, it summarizes all the knowledge produced up until now by previous
editions of the text and it provides the basic knowledge for understanding it. Finally, it proposes an
astronomical commentary and an interpretation of its historical evolution and context of its origin.
