La tesi conduce un’analisi dei primi 365 versi del Liber Exodus, il secondo libro che compone il poema dell’Heptateuchos. Si è fornita innanzitutto una nuova edizione critica del testo (pubblicato per l’ultima volta da Peiper nel 1891), una traduzione italiana (tuttora il poema non è tradotto in lingue moderne) ed un commento sistematico. Quest’ultimo si concentra soprattutto sulla comprensione della tecnica parafrastica del poeta, sui modelli classici adottati e sui possibili punti di contatto con le interpretazioni di punti problematici del testo biblico che emergono nelle opere esegetiche tardoantiche. Il commento è preceduto da una sezione introduttiva dedicata al problema dell’attribuzione dell’opera, che sulla base dei dati a nostra disposizione è da considerarsi anonima, e alle difficoltà di datazione del testo. L’introduzione include anche un capitolo che presenta alcuni argomenti utili a confutare l’ipotesi, sostenuta da Hass e Pollmann, di un possibile uso della Vulgata come modello della parafrasi. ENG: The thesis analyses the first 365 verses of the Liber Exodus, the second book of the Heptateuchos poem. It provides a new critical edition of the text – last published by Peiper in 1891 –, an italian translation – the first realized into any modern language –, and a systematic commentary. The commentary focuses mainly on understanding the poet's paraphrastic technique, the classical models employed and the possible links with the interpretations of some problematic passages of the biblical text which emerge in late antique exegetical works. This commentary is preceded by an introduction addressing the issue of the poem's attribution (on the basis of the data available the poem must be considered anonymous), and to the difficulties in the exact dating of the text. The introduction also includes a chapter which presents some helpful arguments that show the weakness of the position of Hass and Pollmann, who support a possible use of the Vulgate text as a model for the paraphrase.
