Questa tesi si propone di prendere in analisi alcune testimonianze femminili della Shoah, concentrandosi in particolare sugli scritti e le interviste di Liana Millu, Luciana Nissim Momigliano, Edith Bruck e Liliana Segre. L'intenzione della ricerca è quella di offrire un'analisi contestuale di queste testimonianze, facendo uso degli strumenti forniti dai recenti studi riguardanti la memoria e l'«era del testimone», a partire da Annette Wiewiorka (1998) fino a Enrico Mottinelli (2024). La tesi cercherà inoltre di individuare le specificità tematiche e stilistiche delle testimonianze al femminile, che solo recentemente hanno iniziato a ricevere attenzione dalla storiografia. Tra i temi che vengono approfonditi nel corso della ricerca vi sono il rapporto delle donne con il proprio corpo dopo l'ingresso nel Lager, la sessualità, la maternità, l'interazione tra deportate che oscilla tra solidarietà e violenza gratuita. La tesi dimostra che studiare queste testimonianze da un'ottica di genere permette di coglierne più pienamente la specificità e di offrirne una più corretta contestualizzazione.

This thesis aims to take into analysis a number of women's accounts of the Shoah, focusing in particular on the writings and interviews of Liana Millu, Luciana Nissim Momigliano, Edith Bruck, and Liliana Segre. The intention of the research is to offer a contextual analysis of these testimonies, making use of the tools provided by recent studies concerning memory and the “era of the testimony,” beginning with Annette Wiewiorka (1998) and ending with Enrico Mottinelli (2024). The thesis will also seek to identify the thematic and stylistic specificities of women's testimonies, which have only recently begun to receive attention from historiography. Themes explored in the course of the research include women's relationship with their bodies after entering the Lager, sexuality, motherhood, and the interaction between deportees that oscillates between solidarity and gratuitous violence. The thesis demonstrates that studying these testimonies from a gendered perspective allows us to grasp more fully their specificity and offer a more correct contextualization.
