La tesi ha lo scopo di indagare gli archetipi narrativi esplicati da Gustav Jung all'interno del Cinema e serie tv fantasy, come anche in trasposizioni cinematografiche di opere letterarie; inoltre analizza il viaggio dell'Eroe e come questo ottiene una accezione diversa in ogni prodotto filmico proposto. Verranno inoltre esplicate le differenze tra fantasy e fantascienza, con una relativa panoramica sulle ambientazioni comuni e sul ruolo, fondamentale, della missione; quest'ultima necessaria alla partenza dell'eroe ed alla messa in moto dell'avventura.

The thesis aims to investigate the narrative archetypes explained by Gustav Jung within Cinema and fantasy TV series, as well as in cinematographic transpositions of literary works; It also analyzes the journey of the Hero and how this gets a different perception in each proposed film product. The differences between fantasy and science fiction will also be explained, with a relative overview of the common environments and the fundamental role of the mission, necessary for the hero's departure and the start of the adventure.
