Riassunto
A presentation of the current of the art of phased array is the starting point of the thesis. Then the cavity-backed slot antenna is shown with other works correlated to it. Next, the single element, the infinite array and finite array design and performances are presented. Presentation of the triangular lattice and its pros and cons vs square lattice. Conclusion of the thesis with a summary of the advantages and drawbacks of the triangular lattice for the specific CBSA antenna.
