L’area circostante il Palazzo Guazzi situato nel centro storico di Castiglione di Cervia, una frazione del Comune di Cervia, è stata da tempo lasciata a sé stessa e risulta non essere sfruttata nel modo migliore per garantire una giusta fruizione dell’area.
Oggetto della tesi è stata l’ideazione di un progetto di riprogettazione del parco e della pineta, suddiviso in una fase di analisi e una fase progettuale. L’analisi del sito ha valutato i benefici ambientali, sociali ed economici che un’area verde può dare a una città, la modalità di gestione del verde urbano del Comune di Cervia, la storia del sito e della città e l’analisi territoriale e meteoclimatica. Sono stati eseguiti diversi sopralluoghi che hanno permesso di svolgere un rilievo fotografico del sito e compiere le analisi V.T.A. delle alberature presenti.
Successivamente, a partire da materiali forniti dal Comune di Cervia, è stato predisposto un progetto di riqualificazione, che prevede la ristrutturazione del parcheggio antistante l’edificio, utilizzando una pavimentazione in autobloccanti inerbita, e la realizzazione di aiuole inerbite per la messa a dimora di alberi. Tra le proposte progettuali è stata inserita anche la realizzazione di un’area giochi, di percorsi di collegamento tra il parcheggio, il parco e la pineta, e la manutenzione della pineta e del sottobosco. Sono state realizzate, inoltre, delle tavole grafiche esplicative ed è stato stilato il computo metrico estimativo dei lavori.

The area surrounding Palazzo Guazzi located in the historic center of Castiglione di Cervia, a fraction of the Municipality of Cervia, has long been left to itself and is not being exploited in the best way to ensure proper use of the area.
The subject of the thesis was the conception of a redesign project for the park and pine forest, divided into an analysis phase and a design phase. The analysis of the site assessed the environmental, social and economic benefits that a green area can give to a city, the management method of the urban green areas of the Municipality of Cervia, the history of the site and the city and the territorial and meteoclimatic analysis. Several inspections were carried out which made it possible to do a photographic survey of the site and execute the V.T.A. of the trees present.
Subsequently, starting from materials provided by the Municipality of Cervia, a redevelopment project was planned, which involves the renovation of the parking lot in front of the building, using a grassed interlocking flooring, and the construction of grassed flower beds for the planting of trees. The design proposals also included the construction of a playground, connecting paths between the parking lot, the park and the pine forest, and the maintenance of the pine forest. In addition, explanatory graphic tables were created and the estimated metric calculation of the works was drawn up.
