Riassunto
The Remix Culture is a transformative practice affecting a whole spectrum of creative works. In the digital world thanks to the Internet pervasiveness everyone can use and create by remixing existing content into new works. Nowadays, this idea is substantially limited by various laws related to the Intellectual Property Rights. This dissertation analyses the state of the art and proposes alternatives such as Open Source and Creative Commons. The concept of Remix Culture is demonstrated by developing a web application for multimedia editing.
