Riassunto
Design optimization is most of the time a process where the designer tries to improve one or more feature of a studied system, in this paper we propose a modified NSGA II with the ability of deal with an uncertain environment.
It is obvious that the algorithm is design for the optimization of a well known problem, even if happens sometimes that there’s a lack of knowledge that make the design difficult to optimize we will not be taken into account this issue during this paper, however even in a new and not completely defined environment the algorithm can provide good solution for a starting design phase, whose has got to be validated after. We will focus our attention in problems in which are well known the input variables, their permitted value range, the constraints of the problem and the objective functions.
