Riassunto
This work aims at exploring an emerging field of investigation that considers the application of neuroscientific studies and methods to the business world as a possible valid way to increase firms’ competitiveness. In an external environment characterized by growing dynamism, firms need to adapt, develop and reconfigure their resources and competences in order to be able to identify and seize new opportunities. In such a context, a neuroscientific perspective to management science may allow companies to examine processes from a different point of view, thus offering a contribution to enhance business strategy and management. Indeed, a greater comprehension of how individuals react to external stimuli and make decisions could add value to management practice. In this work, an in-depth analysis is provided on the offer of courses available worldwide regarding this emerging field of study. Some business cases are also presented.
