Riassunto
Porous materials represent a wide class of materials that have garnered significant interest for their applications as adsorption, separation, and purification systems. A deep understanding of their structural and dynamic properties at the molecular level is crucial for designing new materials with superior performances. This research employs solid-state NMR spectroscopy to explore the structural and dynamic properties of porous organic polymers, metal-organic frameworks, and 1D coordination polymers—three rapidly expanding classes of porous materials renowned for their remarkable properties. Additionally, the investigation of their interaction with guest molecules, such as CO₂ and volatile organic compounds, provided valuable insights into their potential applications in gas storage and environmental remediation. This research combines the study of different NMR nuclei (17O, 13C, 1H, 2H, 19F) with the study of different nuclear properties (dipolar interaction, CSA, spin-lattice and spin-spin relaxation times and quadrupolar interaction) using both high and low resolution techniques.
