Industrialized countries, as Italy, have to face the emerging phenomena of "free-riding" and "rational" opposition toward vaccinations against children's infectious diseases, as measles. This thesis aims to show the importance of Public Health System intervention in order to avoid dramatic drops in vaccine uptake and to achieve disease eradication.
