Riassunto
The governing equations and appropriate boundary
conditions regulating the flow dynamics of a fluid phase past a permeable cylinder are derived, according to homogenization theory.
Effects of porosity on flow configuration and stability property of the wake are
discussed. The problem regarding the stability of the von Kármán
vortex street is described and a possible analysis procedure is proposed. The unsteady wake flow past a permeable cylinder is analyzed and the results concerning
the stability properties of the von Kármán vortex street past a permeable cylinder are presented.
