Riassunto
The present PhD thesis focused on the use of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy for the in-depth comprehensive study of the stereochemical, dynamic and thermodynamic features of supramolecular aggregates involving from low-to-high molecular weight systems. Three main kinds of materials with high technological impact were investigated: 1) derivatized ammonium-chitosans to be employed, also as nanoparticles, for drug delivery systems; 2) cyclodextrins and maltodextrins as solubility promoters and controlled release platforms, respectively; 3) inorganic or hybrid organic/inorganic optoelectronic components, in which the comprehension of the role of organic species used in synthetic procedures is fundamental for the rational design of optimized final materials.
