This work show how is possible to handle generic signal via a numerical system. In particular we create a complete software and hardware environment for signal treatment by digital signal processor (DSP).
Digital signal processing allows a full and customizable control on signal, unlike the analog treatment of the information. Signals generated by analog or digital system are mostly indistinguishable.
Moreover, we take the advantages of the numerical system like low cost, easy mass-production, error correction and no need of specific hardware. Simply by re-coding the algorithm executed by the DSP instead of by hardware modifications, is possible to create any type of telecomunication signal and hardware equivalent architecture we need.
