Riassunto
The aim of this thesis is the analysis of the physical phenomena involved in the nuclear accident at Fukushima NPP.
This study has been articulated into two main parts: the first concerns the examination of the most important events that happened and determinated the Fukushima accident;
the second part concerns the RELAP5\SCDAP simulation of the accident and the analysis of the obtained results, with the comparison of the available plant data.
