The aim of this work was to formulate a cosmetic line suitable for ICEA organic certification to be placed on the market.
The study was carried out through the following steps:
- products formulation;
- stability studies, in order to ensure the maintenance of product quality, safety and efficacy throughout the shelf life;
- microbiological studies, in order to guarantee the absence of microorganisms into the products;
- patch test, in order to ensure skin compatibility of the formulations;
- consumer test, in order to evaluate the impact of the products on possible purchasers.
