A solution of optical sampling, based on Four-Wave mixing, as part of an optical oscilloscope has been investigated.
Two experiments have been done.
The first one has given a validation of this technique, by a 10 GHz NRZ signal optical sampling, comparing the results with commercial oscilloscope traces.
The first one has permitted to test this technique for up-to-80 GHz RZ signals, comparing the results with commercial autocorrelator traces.
