The experimental study aims to study the metabolic and molecular changes in different pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) cell lines treated with the combined chemotherapy FOLFIRINOX. The overall objective is to outline a detailed map of the cellular responses implemented by pancreatic tumor cells during chemotherapy treatments, identifying not only the molecular defense mechanisms, but also the timing with which these mechanisms are activated and consolidated over time. The results obtained may contribute to identifying new potential therapeutic targets and to developing targeted strategies to overcome chemoresistance, thus improving the efficacy of the therapies currently available for patients affected by pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
