La tesi si propone di analizzare la dottrina Anassimandro dell'ἄπειρον a partire dalle interpretazioni degli studiosi antichi e moderni. Nel primo capitolo sono esaminate le occorrenze di negazioni del limite, πεῖραρ, all'interno della letteratura greca dalle origini sino al V secolo a.C. Nel secondo sono vagliate tutte le testimonianze relative all'ἄπειρον di Anassimandro, tratte dall'edizione di riferimento Die Fragmente der Vorsokratiker e integrate sulla base dei più recenti sviluppi nel campo della ricerca. Nel terzo e ultimo capitolo sono riportate le considerazioni finali da parte dell'autore.

The thesis aims to analyze the Anaximander doctrine of ἄπειρον starting from the interpretations of ancient and modern scholars. The first chapter examines the occurrences of negations of the limit, πεῖραρ, within Greek literature from its origins up to the fifth century BC. In the second chapter, all the testimonies relating to Anaximander's ἄπειρον are examined, taken from the reference edition Die Fragmente der Vorsokratiker and integrated on the basis of the most recent developments in the field of research. In the third and final chapter, the author's final remarks are reported.
