The aim of this thesis is to improve the production cycle at Toscana Spazzole Industriali by focusing on digitization and better process control. In the first part, the coupling phase between two tubes was analyzed. This was done using preliminary FEM models and field tests to determine the factors influencing the force required for keying. In parallel, a structural analysis of the orizontal press constraints was performed in order to determine if necessary to change their deisgn.

In the second part, the management of the iron tube warehouse was enhanced through the use of spreadsheets and userforms programmed in VBA, allowing for the creation of an associated database and its continuous updating. To ensure effectiveness, the programming phase was based on the needs of the operators who will use the interfaces, and tests were conducted to correct errors and introduce improvements.
