Riassunto
One of the primary inefficiencies in conventional water electrolyzers stems from the formation of bubbles on the electrodes. A potential solution to reduce these inefficiencies involves utilizing an electrolyte flow to facilitate bubble detachment. To investigate this, an experimental setup was designed to study the impact of electrolyte flow on the detachment of hydrogen bubbles. A high-speed camera is employed to record videos capturing the detached hydrogen bubbles from the cathode. Utilizing a deep learning algorithm, the hydrogen bubble size distribution is analyzed while varying three key parameters: electrolyte flow, current density, and cathode type.
