Riassunto
In this thesis we recall the construction of the stack of smooth curves of genus g. Then we define the stack of hyperelliptic curves of genus g and we prove that it is a closed substack of the stack of smooth curves of genus g. Finally we prove the same result for moduli spaces in characteristic zero.
