A procedure for the analysis of buckling and post buckling behavior of C.F.R.P hat stiffened panels during compression tests using Digital Image Correlation techniques (DIC) has been developed. Results in the forms of out of plane displacement fields and buckling mode shapes have been used for validation and verification of Finite Element non-linear analysis.
