  The first phase of the experimentation period was characterized by research and study in the context of the preparation of polymeric poly (lactic acid) (PLA) / cellulose diacetate (CDA) mixtures obtained with different percentages by weight.
Some mixtures have also been prepared with the addition of the EJ400 plasticizer and the catalyst CATA with the aim of promoting the exchange reaction between PLA and CDA in the molten state.
The experimental work is divided into two part:
1. Study of the mechanical and morphological properties of a mixture based on poly (lactic acid) and cellulose acetate at varying concentrations of cellulose acetate
2. Development of the mixture PLA/CDA with a compatibilizer, obtained by 5% reactions of EJ400 and CATA, to increase the mechanical properties of a mixture of PLA/CDA.
