In this thesis, I propose an optimization model for vertical warehouse dedicated to the assembly phase within a manufacturing context. The main goal is to improve the efficiency of the picking phase, by optimizing the storage phase. The model aims to group components that belong to the same production order into the least number of trays possible, in order to minimize teh machine cycles required for the asembly.
