Riassunto
The scope of the work is performed a risk assessment due to the impact of floods and earthquakes on industrial facilities that process, stored and transport hazardous substances with the possible occurrence of major accident. In particular, the study provides a direct application of vulnerability models available in literature to carry out NaTech risk assessment. The work also analyzed the contribution of both pipelines and storage vessels to the risk of process facilities, pointing out how pipes risk engrave on plant risk compared to vessels in case of flooding and seismic events.
