Riassunto
This master's thesis delves into the evolving landscape of Benefit Corporations (B Corps) and their transformative impact on the legal framework, particularly in the field of Economics. The study begins by examining the historical context and emergence of B Corps, unraveling their unique characteristics and contributions to sustainable business practices. A comprehensive review of international experiences and the legal implications associated with B Corps sets the foundation for understanding their role thus far.

The focal point of the research shifts to the Azerbaijani legal landscape, where an in-depth analysis is conducted to assess the compatibility of existing legal structures with the principles and objectives of Benefit Corporations. By scrutinizing the economic, social, and environmental dynamics of Azerbaijan, the study gauges the feasibility and desirability of implementing Benefit Corporation laws within the country.

Through a combination of comparative legal analysis and empirical evidence, the thesis evaluates the potential benefits and challenges associated with introducing Benefit Corporation legislation. The findings contribute to the ongoing discourse surrounding sustainable business practices, offering insights into how B Corps could align with the economic priorities of the nation and foster positive socio-environmental impacts.
