Riassunto
This thesis presents a novel approach to Selective Disclosure of claims within the self-sovereign identity ecosystem. Existing methods protect the subject’s privacy by allowing the receiver to access only a subset of their claims. The proposed approach additionally grants receiver privacy by obscuring the receiver request this is achieved using the Oblivious Transfer (OT) Protocol. OT is a cryptographic protocol where a sender shares one of many secrets with a receiver, who chooses one without revealing their choice, while the sender learns nothing about the choice made. This selective disclosure based method has applications in situations where the claim required by the receiver to decide is itself a sensitive information, such as in auditing contexts. The thesis presents the protocol, discusses its security and perform an experimental evaluation of its performance.
