Riassunto
This thesis has focus on the introduction of Conversion Rate metric in Fendi stores using Business Intelligence techniques. Fendi is a luxurious retail company with headquarter in Rome, Italy. Conversion Rate is the ratio between transactions and visitors.
This work takes into account state of the art sensors permitting people counting and investigate the most promising technologies like infrared beams, computer vision, thermal imaging, synthetic intelligence, 3D smart cameras. Amongh these, two solutions based on thermal imaging and computer vision respectively s are investigated and tested toward a Fendi Master Plan involving three store located in Rome, Ginza Matsuya and Las Vegas.
