La tesi si propone di esaminare il difficile bilanciamento
tra diritto alla vita e diritto all'autodeterminazione del paziente,
analizzando le decisioni dei giudizi nazionali, il quadro normativo, i
valori costituzionali richiamati in tali circostanze, cercando di
comprendere in che limiti sia possibile una normativa organica sul fine
vita, coerente con i diritti fondamentali fatti propri dai padri
costituenti.

The thesis aims to examine the difficult balance between the right to
life and the patient's right to self-determination, analyzing the
decisions of national and European judges, the regulatory framework, the
constitutional values ​​invoked in such circumstances, with the aim to
understand within what limits a regulation of the "rights to die" is
agreeable, consistent with the fundamental rights endorsed by the
Constitution.
