This master thesis describes the set of tools that have been realized to enhance an experimental
development, debugging and testing tool-chain for RISC-V software developed using a test-
driven design approach. This project is meant to supply novel achievements in the areas of
Debugging, Testing and software support for a custom implementation of a RISC-V core.
