Riassunto
In this thesis we present a distributed platform that allows an integrated approach to business security issues and enables merchants to safely adopt smartPOS solutions. The work has been developed inside the SecureB2C project. In the specific, the solution is composed of two modules, a traffic monitoring system and a remote vulnerability assessment platform. For the first module, the thesis analyzes a neural network architecture capable of detecting anomalous traffic, in order to report possible attacks to the POS device. The vulnerability assessment module instead has been developed relying on the Nervis probe from Quantavis, a physical probe that can perform a continuous analysis of the corporate network in which it is placed. In order to adapt this system to the SecureB2C project, the entire complexity of the probe has been moved to a cloud service, thus reducing the cost of installation. In the last section, the thesis reports all the design choices and the development process of the vulnerability assessment platform.
