Riassunto
This volume is the final result of a three months project with Procter & Gamble Services GmbH in its German Headquarter (Schwalbach am Taunus) for Baby Care Cost Engineering section.
The purpose of the work was to provide Baby Care Engineering Stage IV a new standardized Cost Tracking and Forecasting Tool (CTFT) to help global project managers (PMs) manage their projects, provide Finance and Accounting function (F&A) correct information and spread managing best practices throughout the organization. Many PMs were interviewed to understand their needs. Existing CTFTs (both inside and outside Baby Care) were analyzed and reviewed looking for best practices.
A new tool has been created, combining existing best in class modules with brand new ones. It was made intensive use of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) that enabled the creation of pop-up user interfaces, for the first time used in P&G Baby Care Engineering project management activity. A first version of the created CTFT has been already used in January 2010.
