The aim of this thesis is to apply Multi Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) techniques such as ELECTRE, PROMETHEE and TOPSIS to the evaluation of medical devices in mini-Health Technology Assessment (mini – HTA), with the aim of understanding which technique may be the most suitable in the hospital healthcare context. To conduct this study, an in-depth analysis of the scientific literature on HTA, MCDA and related methods was carried out. In particular, the ELECTRE, PROMETHEE and TOPSIS methods were examined, highlighting the advantages and limitations of each technique. Subsequently, a comparison was developed between the three methods based on specific variables identified in the literature and finally, each comparison variable was declined in the Tuscan hospital context with the aim of determining which methodology could be the most effective to support decisions relating to the evaluation of medical devices.
