The cardiovascular disease trend in the world forces society to find solutions to heart attacks, especially for the young population. CryoTherapeutics is a start-up company that aims to develop a breakthrough coronary artery disease treatment using a non-implantable technology that prevents uncontrolled plaque rupture in the coronaries using cryogenic temperature.
The whole proprietary embedded system architecture has been restructured in this thesis project. The load of each processor has been optimized making sure there is room for a future increase in complexity, both at a low and high level.
