Riassunto
Established companies have considerable difficulties generating continuous flows of innovation. A largely adopted approach to address this issue is labelled “corporate entrepreneurship”. Corporate entrepreneurship (CE) identifies the set of coordinated activities, such as corporate incubator, accelerator, and corporate venturing from internal sources (employees) and external (startups or other companies), which support a permanent and continuous flow of innovation opportunities. Enterprises that successfully maintain a competitive position on the market adopt this approach, as witnessed by the recent cases of Renault, which has developed an internal innovation platform dedicated to ideas from employees, or the Enel Innovation World Cup. The literature examines the CE initiatives to identify antecedent and moderation variables related with the complex topic addressed and carried out a Systematic Literature Review of 186 empirical scientific articles relating to the period 2010-2020. The thesis extends the taxonomy of variables in macro-categories and provides a detailed description of the main results identified.
