The main purpose of this thesis is the drafting of a database of acoustic characteristics of theatres and concert halls.
In order to achieve this objective, it was necessary to undertake careful research. In particular, general and specific information, such as acoustic parameters, of a large number of halls was investigated in order to provide a solid basis for drawing up the database.
Thanks to the large amount of data collected, it was also possible to carry out a study on the correlations between the parameters analysed, and to compare results with those of other studies on correlations between acoustic parameters.
