With the huge growth of the cloud usage, a large portion of the capital expenditure (CapEx)companies were used to spend in ICT infrastructures, is going to convert itself to an opera-tional expenditure (OpEx). In the industry 4.0, companies benefit of these short term cost; however the exponential increase of cloud expenses raises doubts. The financial team is not anymore able to control these expenses, and often at the end of the month they found them-selves with unexpectedly high bills. The purpose of this thesis is to introduce the cloudcost management fledging techniques, reunite under the name ofFinOps, and see how it is possible to implement a custom platform of showback/chargebackon on a Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
